Amalia Peer Expert at Adelante Entrepreneurs by LatinoLEAD
April 25 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
LatinoLEAD is co-hosting a professional development workshop for Latinx entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship, at The University of St. Thomas. The goal of this event is to increase the professional toolkit of Latinx entrepreneurs to launch their businesses, grow and adapt through new approaches to innovate, access available resources, and expand their network.
The event will consist of:
Networking sessions to continue to build the social capital and connections Latinx entrepreneurs need to thrive; an opportunity to connect with Peer Experts is the room.
Business Model Canvas workshop led by Dr. Sheneeta White and Manuela Hill-Muñoz to develop and refine new and existing business models;
Final Resource sharing and further connect with Peer Experts as well as with potential bilingual mentors.
What are Peer Experts? We are excited to have over a dozen Peer Experts confirmed in the fields of Access to Capital, Cash Flow, Marketing, Technology, Business planning, Start-Ups, Export, Accounting, Taxes, Insurance, etcetera. Attendees will connect with different Peer Experts in the room depending on the expertise they need. Peer Experts will use the event to educate by responding to brief questions and establishing a way to further connect with attendees; each Peer Expert will decide how to exchange information and continue the conversation after the event. The goal of this connection is to educate the attendees, not promote professional services or businesses.
